Samantha Sandgren, LPC, PMH-C
I earned my bachelor's degree in Child Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Dallas and my master's degree in Counseling from the University of Minnesota. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, families, and adults across a variety of settings. My background in child development and counseling has given me an appreciation for how early experiences, attachment relationships, and family dynamics shape the way we relate to ourselves, our partners, and our children. Today, I support adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and the lasting impact of earlier experiences, with specialized training in perinatal mental health and the transition to parenthood.
My approach is integrative, holistic, and evidence-based, blending cognitive and somatic therapies to support both emotional insight and nervous system healing. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up fully, without judgment. Together, we work to better understand the roots of your struggles, heal old wounds, and create new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel more authentic and aligned with who you want to be.
I enjoy working with adults who want to better understand themselves, break free from old patterns, and create healthier, more connected relationships. I am certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and work with individuals and partners before, during, and after pregnancy. I offer in-person therapy in Littleton and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.
