Frequently Asked Questions

I am currently in the process of becoming in-network with Kaiser, UHC, and Aetna. In the meantime, many clients choose to use out-of-network benefits and submit a monthly superbill for reimbursement. A superbill includes all the details your insurance company requires to submit a claim.
Even while credentialing is underway, you can continue therapy without delay. If you have questions about your specific plan or reimbursement options, please don’t hesitate to contact me — I’m happy to help guide you through the process.
What are your fees?
My session fees are $125 for 55-minute sessions.I also offer 90-minute sessions for $195, for deeper exploration and support.
Limited reduced-fee spots available based on financial need.

Yes! Even if I’m not yet in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be able to use your out-of-network benefits. I provide a superbill after each session, which includes all the information your insurance company needs to submit a claim for reimbursement.
Many clients choose this option while I complete credentialing with insurance companies, so you can continue therapy without delay.
-
Yes! I offer both in-person sessions at my office and online/virtual therapy via secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions. You can choose the format that works best for your schedule, comfort, and needs.
-
In our first session, we’ll explore what’s been going on for you and what you’re hoping to work on in therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and any goals or changes you’re wanting to make. We’ll also talk through my approach, what sessions typically look like, and what feels most supportive for you.
I take a collaborative approach and move at the pace that feels safe and comfortable for you.
-
At this time, I work with individuals only. While I don’t provide couples therapy, many of my clients use individual sessions to understand relationship patterns, build communication skills, and strengthen connection with their partners. If you’re looking specifically for couples counseling, I’m happy to provide referrals to trusted local providers.

Perinatal OCD
Intrusive, unwanted thoughts about harm coming to your baby or yourself
Compulsive behaviors like checking, seeking reassurance, or avoiding situations that might “cause harm”
Thoughts feel very real or urgent, even though you don’t want them
Anxiety spikes if you resist compulsions
Commonly about safety, cleanliness, or “doing things perfectly”
Postpartum Anxiety
Persistent worry or tension, often about your baby’s safety or your ability to parent
Racing thoughts, overthinking, or “what-if” scenarios
Physical symptoms like restlessness, heart racing, or trouble sleeping
Irritability or feeling “on edge”
Worry tends to be more generalized, without the compulsive behaviors seen in OCD
I screen for postpartum OCD and anxiety to understand your unique experience. If treatment is needed, we gently begin Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) at a pace that feels safe for you, helping you reduce compulsions, calm anxiety, and feel more confident and supported as a parent.

ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) is a type of therapy for anxiety and OCD. It helps you gradually face fears in a safe, supportive way while learning to respond differently to anxiety, so it can ease over time. ERP is always collaborative and moves at your pace, never forcing you to do anything before you’re ready. It’s especially effective for perinatal OCD, intrusive thoughts, and anxiety.
