Samantha Sandgren, LPC, PMH-C

Hi, my name is Samantha Sandgren. I am a licensed therapist, a mom of two, and someone who understands firsthand how messy and meaningful this stage of life can be.

Becoming a mom changed my life in ways I never fully anticipated. It has been the greatest catalyst for my own personal growth. Parenting has a way of holding up a mirror and inviting us to grow, whether we expect it to or not. Even with a background in mental health and after reading all the books, becoming a parent was harder than I imagined. It stretched me, humbled me, and deepened my understanding of how complex and emotional this experience can be.

That experience shapes the way I show up in my work. My work integrates approaches such as Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, mindfulness, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help people build emotional awareness and develop a healthier relationship with anxiety. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can explore those experiences, feel understood, and move toward the life and relationships that matter most to you.

I specialize in supporting women and their partners before, during, and after pregnancy. I am certified in perinatal mental health through Postpartum Support International and offer in person therapy in Littleton, Colorado, as well as virtual sessions for clients throughout Colorado.
